Bundesbank Bunker Cochem

The open tours for individual visitors start during the season (April to October) every hour on the hour. The first starts at 11 a.m., or from July at 10 a.m., and the last one daily at 3 p.m. Registration is not possible. If the number of visitors exceeds a group size, additional tours will be offered at intervals of 15 minutes.

In the summer months from May to October, a shuttle bus departs from Endertplatz Cochem 20 minutes before the tour since there are no parking spaces available at the bunker itself and it is otherwise only accessible on foot.

Interested groups (from 15 persons) are requested to register in advance. Special dates are offered throughout the year here.

The tour through this impressive and unique documentation site lasts about 35 minutes; warm clothing is recommended at temperatures of 12 degrees. Let yourself be taken on our journey through contemporary history and experience the special bunker atmosphere up close.

Bunker Shuttle in the summer months

No bus transfer to the Bundesbank bunker during the winter months  

Important:

Since the former Bundesbank bunker is located in a residential area, there are no parking spaces available in the facility itself and, for larger vehicles, no turnaround options nearby. Out of respect for the residents, we ask you to use the parking spaces designated by the city for tour buses and cars. From the aforementioned stop, the Bunker Shuttle will take you directly to the bunker during the summer months upon request. Alternatively, you can also reach the bunker on foot in about 20 minutes from Endertplatz or the train station and in about 15 minutes from the leisure center.
