The highlight and insider tip at the same time is the Calmont via ferrata, which leads you with partly alpine challenges between Eller and Bremm at an altitude of 200 to 300 metres above the Moselle across the steepest vineyards in Europe. Great challenges await hiking and climbing enthusiasts!
Europe‘s steepest vineyard, with climbing trail. At difficult passages, the via ferrata is rendered safer by ladders, handrails and steps. Anyone daring the ascent will be rewarded with a wonderful panorama.
The Calmont Klettersteig trail can be walked all year round, but should only be walked in dry weather. A hike here is not recommended when it is raining or wet.
