The 6.5 ha site is located in a beautiful meadow valley surrounded by forest and mountains, away from traffic and yet only about 1.5 km from the centre of Saarburg. Facilities: Tent site, parcelled pitches, comfort pitches, paved motorhome pitches, barbecue, storage and fire pit, children's playground, children's room for bad weather, table tennis, volleyball court, small swimming pool (3.8 x 8 x 1.2 m), heated sanitary building, baby changing room, facilities for the disabled, chemical outlets, washing machine, tumble dryer, restaurant, gas sales, public telephone, bicycle hire, bread roll service. All motorhome pitches are paved with grass pavers, are level, easy to reach and have an electricity connection. The supply and disposal facilities are centrally located and are also easy to reach.
Our Camping Site is situated at the outskirts of Saarburg, in the Trier-Saarburg region. Be welcome to find numerous attractions and activities a very short drive away. There are many beautiful walks and cycling tours that you can start from right outside the Camping Waldfrieden into the neighbouring woods, or discover the nearby rivers Saar and Mosel.The site is an ideal position for touring our „next door neighbour“ countries the Saarland, France or Luxemburg. Or go on a daytrip to Trier.
For the times of the year that are not so bright we offer paved standings for mobilhomes, campers and caravans, as well as a pub, a lounge and a covered terrace.
