You can discover lovingly carved street names on many streets in Enkirch.
The idea for the carved street signs came from our former mayor Jaixen, who was mayor and chairman of the HVV in the 1950s. He had newly founded the association and campaigned massively for it.
The signs were carved by Werner Eisner, Ewald Schütz and Erwin Gall.
