Catholic parish church "St. Michael" in Zell-Merl Only the east tower remaining from the original former church in the municipal district of Zell-Merl. The present church is a monastic church of the former Minorite monastery which was probably founded in 1290. The interior of the single-naved church there is an altar, dating from magnificent and carefully executed example of Antwerp woodcarving artistry. Covering the sacristy is the oldest roof truss in Germany (1290).
