- Saarburg
On the Churbelun Path, you can circle the impressive Saarburg once. Information panels explain the history of the fortress.
Narrow footpaths connected the town, castle, and banks of the Saar back then as they do today. The Churbelunpfad leads around the castle complex for approximately 700 meters (duration about ½ hour). Seven information boards along the way provide insights into the eventful history of the castle from an architectural perspective and its use by former lords of the castle. A visit to the castle restaurant allows one to end the tour in a relaxed manner.
