The focus of the exhibition is on Christmas cribs. Historical cribs take the viewer back to a time when crib displays had a missionary character due to widespread illiteracy - the visual representation of the word of God. With about 90 exhibits spread over approximately 300 square meters, interested visitors have the opportunity to experience the pictorial representation of the birth of Jesus and receive knowledgeable background information year-round. Prices: Adults: 5.00 Euros Reduced: 4.00 Euros Groups: 4.00 Euros per person Children up to 12 years have free admission.
The Museum
The Klüsserath Nativity Friends have put together an extraordinary and diverse nativity exhibition for the House of Nativities. With over 90 exhibits spread across approximately 300 square meters, interested visitors have the opportunity to experience the visual representation of the birth of Jesus year-round and receive expert background information.
Nestled in the beautiful wine landscape of the Middle Moselle, the museum offers visitors an unparalleled experience: high-quality Christmas nativities in a pleasant atmosphere, guided by exceptionally knowledgeable guides, along with the opportunity to delve deeper into the concept of nativities. The displayed nativities could not be more varied: We show you nativities from all over the world as well as local ones, and historical nativities await you alongside contemporary versions. Let yourself be surprised!
The museum is located in a preserved, over 350-year-old, and completely restored building. The collection is unique in Rhineland-Palatinate and neighboring areas and is worth a visit due to its presentation and quality.
We warmly welcome you to the House of Nativities and look forward to your visit in Klüsserath on the beautiful Middle Moselle.
