The former Kröv town hall

The Three-Gabled House, one of the most remarkable half-timbered houses in the Mosel region, is regarded as the old Kröv Town Hall, which is already mentioned in medieval court records. However, shortly after its construction in 1658, it must have been sold by the municipality, as the town hall was soon accommodated in the tower that used to be located at today's Europplatz (Europe Fountain). Such a flight tower still exists today behind the Three-Gabled House. These flight castles were scattered across the wide area of the village to protect the population and were preserved until a few years ago. Today, only this one has remained at the Three-Gabled House. Especially noteworthy are the carvings in the half-timbering of the Three-Gabled House.
Today, the house is privately owned and houses a wine tavern.
