You can reach the Eiderberg nature reserve via the Moselsteig Trail side trail ‘König-Johann-Runde’. The 439-metre-high Eiderberg is an area with species-rich calcareous grassland, bushes, scrubland, orchids and former limestone quarries. The nature reserve extends to the east of the local community of Freudenburg.
