On varied paths and paths through the vineyards, the forest and the small Moselle villages, the hiker experiences the fauna and flora, the history and the Moselle culture first hand. The topic and information boards, which can be found again and again along the route with a total length of 15 km and a medium difficulty, serve as information media. You can start the hike in any of the four places (Ernst, Ellenz-Poltersdorf, Beilstein or Bruttig- Fankel) where you can return through the circular course. The hiking trail runs on both sides of the Moselle, between which you can take the ferry in Beilstein and the bridge at Bruttig.
The boxwood hiking trail can be walked all year round, but should only be walked in dry weather. A hike here is not recommended when it is raining or wet.
