Home and Transport Association For the first time in 1985, the Home and Transport Association Föhren established an event calendar for the Föhren clubs, which is now created together with the community. This is just one of many activities of the association, which was founded in 1984. After creating and eventually reissuing a hiking map, hiking trails were marked. Regularly, smaller hikes take place every 14 days in the surrounding area, and several larger hikes and trips occur throughout the year. Local history and tourist office For the first time in 1985, the Heimat- und Verkehrsverein Föhren (local history and tourist office) created a calendar of events for the associations of Föhren, which is now produced together with the municipality. This is only one of the many activities of the association, which was founded in 1984. After the creation and in the meantime new edition of a hiking map, hiking trails were marked. Smaller hikes in the surrounding area take place regularly every fortnight, and larger hikes and trips several times a year.
