Erdener Prälat and Erdener Treppchen are two very famous vineyards on the steep slopes of the Middle Moselle: top wines grow here.

At the foot of the vineyard, about 100 metres above sea level, there is a restored wine press from Roman times. It proves that vines were already cultivated here 2000 years ago.
