Kanu Ein- und Ausstiegsstelle Schweich - KM 178,2

  • Schweich

KM 178.2! Exit on the left (downstream)! The entry and exit point of the Moselle water hiking route is freely accessible and very useful for canoe, kayak, and rowing boat users.

There is a water hiking route for rowers and canoeists along the Moselle and Saar, covering a total distance of 217 kilometers.

The Moselle water hiking route starts on the Saar in Saarburg and ends at the confluence with the Moselle in Koblenz. In between, there are 50 jetties and resting places that offer opportunities to go ashore, where paddlers can enjoy regional delicacies and a glass of wine; many of these have been newly constructed to make the water hiking route more attractive. In the area of the Roman Wine Route alone, there are 8 landing stages in Schweich, Longuich, Riol, Mehring, Pölich, Klüsserath, Leiwen, and Trittenheim.
