Kueser Academy for European Intellectual History

According to the statutes (§ 2) the tasks of the "Kueser Akademie für Europäische Geistesgeschichte e.V. ", acting in the spirit of Cusanus (but not strictly bound to him), include to investigate and relay the cultural and spiritual inheritance of Europe in research, teaching and social action and make it profitable for the present by identifying and exploring issues of overriding meaning and relevance concerning culture, science, arts, economy, politics and society and thus develop possible courses of action. The academy considers itself as centre of an open science network working internationally and transdisciplinary. It is a research facility sui generis, a contact and network platform for science and academic institutions of education with university links accessible for interested citizens and students.
