Leuchtpunkt Wehrer Rosenberg - Wall Landscapes

Cultivated terraces in viticulture are rare on the Upper Moselle. One of the few sites with terraces on the German side of the Moselle is the Rosenberg site in Wehr. In fact, the vineyard had almost fallen into disuse a few years ago before Armand and Fabian Frank decided to cultivate the site without the use of herbicides and insecticides. Wine was already being grown on the Rosenberg in the middle of the 19th century. The yield from this vineyard site was twice as high as usual on the Upper Moselle. The Wehrer Rosenberg has been a beacon of biodiversity since 2020. Enjoy the marvellous view over the Moselle.
