Lieserstufen Wittlich

The Lieser Steps were created as part of the "City on the River" project within a two-year construction phase and have been offering a special recreation area in the centre of Wittlich since 2018. Here, guests and residents of Wittlich enjoy the direct proximity to the river. A variety of gastronomic offers in the immediate vicinity and cultural events guarantee a unique "river" experience. The offer for families is completed by the adventure playground on the opposite bank and the sandbank in the riverbed, which invites numerous children to explore the Lieser in summer under the supervision of their parents with magnifying glasses and paddles.
