Guided hikes: Through the Hatzenport vineyards and rocky meadows with insight into the micro- and macrocosm of a unique natural and cultural landscape

Experience a hike through the wonderful biodiversity. Are you curious about what is behind the "sickle-leaved hare's ear"? Do you feel like being guided through the vineyard habitat and the rocky meadows, where the wasteland shrike flashes its red wings and the bunting "zips"? In guided walks from April to October, we show you why Hatzenport is the center of biodiversity in Central Europe. Enjoy our Riesling wines in their natural environment. For the route, there are freely selectable alternatives from just under 1.5 to about 3 kilometers in length, depending on how good on foot the hiking group is. Interested hikers and wine lovers can discuss the route with the guides in advance, from the easy version over mostly paved paths to the trickier path version with climbing passages. We start at the railroad bridge Schrumpftal, walk along the dream trail "Hatzenporter Laysteig", past the weather stations through the existing and former vineyards and the "Naafgraben" to the winegrower's hut. Along the way, there is plenty of opportunity to rest and engage with the mysteries of flora, fauna and Riesling!
Book guided hikes: The duration of the hike is individually variable from 2.5 - 4 hours. The ideal group size is between 8 and 15 people. The price per participant is 24,-€ including 4 wine tastings. To descend freely selectable the via ferrata, requires the highest concentration!
