At the summit cross "Maunert", which is located at an altitude of 416 m, one can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of Taben-Rodt, Serrig, the Kasteler Plateau, and the Saartal valley.
The Maunert can be reached from the hiking parking lot on L133 between Taben-Rodt and Freudenburg. From there, follow the sign with the blue triangle for about 2 kilometers. At the summit cross "Maunert," located at an elevation of 416 meters, you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of Taben-Rodt, Serrig, the Kasteler Plateau, and the Saartal valley. Behind the summit cross, the path continues as a "via ferrata" along the ridge of the Maunert.
