Mit dem Bus zur Geierlay

In the Hunsrück village Mörsdorf (15 km away from the Moselle) the most beautiful hanging bridge in Germany is waiting for your visit. Take bus lines 746 (Monday to Friday) and 631 (Saturday, Sunday and public holidays) from Treis-Karden to Mörsdorf and get off at the bus stop "Ohspull" or "Geierlay Visitor Center". From the visitor center, a 1.7 km long path (paved field path) leads to the Geierlay. Alternatively, you can also start the circular hiking trail "Geierlayschleife" at the southern edge of the village (Auf der Lex 7/Am Trafohäuschen). The trail leads once over the bridge as well as once through the valley and has a length of 6.4 km. Surefootedness and solid footwear are required.
