Visitors can plunge into the rich world of migratory fish in the exciting Mosellum in Koblenz. The attraction opened in 2011 and uses interactive exhibits to vividly depict the Moselle river and its fish. Visitors can find a lot of information about eels, salmon and other fish
At the Mosellum at the Fish Pass Koblenz, visitors of all ages are invited to dive into the fascinating world of migratory fish. Located directly at the first weir of the Moselle, the information center offers exciting insights into the interplay of shipping, hydropower, and fish migration in the Moselle Valley.
The interactive exhibition makes the Moselle and its diverse fish world vividly accessible. In four thematically designed experience areas that span several barrier-free accessible levels, the ecological balance between humans and nature is impressively conveyed.
A special highlight awaits guests in the basement: through three large viewing windows, they can get a direct look at the fish pass and, with a bit of luck, observe fish passing by. Those who prefer an overview can enjoy the rooftop terrace – with an impressive view of the facility from a bird's perspective.
