Ortsgemeinde Nehren

  • Nehren

Nehren, which was already mentioned in 634, is one of the oldest villages on the Moselle. Witnesses to the Roman past are the Roman graves located high in the vineyards. They can be reached from the village by a short walk along the Roman Graves Cultural Trail. The trail also includes an original Roman Celtic stone and a small church in late Gothic style from the 16th century that is well worth seeing. The idyllic village also offers good hiking trails, a Nordic walking route, water sports and fishing on the Moselle. www.nehren-mosel.de
