- Wirfus
Wirfus is located six kilometres southeast of the town of Kaisersesch and a good three kilometres north of the Moselle on a ridge that slopes slowly from west to east towards the steeply sloping valley of the Pommerbach.
Wirfus is a typical small Eifel village with just 200 inhabitants and has largely preserved its originality and village character. A charming forest and meadow landscape with a good network of hiking trails invites you to take relaxing walks. It is worth visiting the Villa Margaretha and the ruins of the Rosental Monastery with its small chapel.
