The parish church of St. Remigius was built in 1725 according to the plans of the diocesan architect Ravensteyn
In 1725, the old St. Remigius Church (at the site of the present Kesselstatt Chapel) was demolished, as it had long become too small. At the same time, the new St. Remigius Church was built at its current location. The Abbey of Echternach commissioned this church to be constructed in the Baroque style according to the plans of the diocesan master builder Ravensteyn. The parish priest of Kröv at the time of the church's construction was Maximilian Henn, who is buried under his coat of arms in the choir of the church. The church has been designated with the sign "Cultural Heritage of Humanity." The church is open for visits before holy mass.
