Slate Cave near Trittenheim High up on the steep slope of our famous vineyard "Tritteheimer Apotheke" lies the slate cave. It is open to the public and serves as an interesting resting place inviting you to take a break after the climb and to explore. From Trittenheim, follow the "Römersteig" over the bridge, past the ferry rock plateau and the late Roman sarcophagi, through the steep slope to the slate cave. Alternatively, the side route "Moselachter," Kronberg circuit will take you from Zummmet Höhe to the slate cave.

High up in the steep slope of our famous vineyard "Tritteheimer Apotheke" lies the slate cave. It is openly accessible and an interesting resting place that invites you to take a break after the ascent and to explore.
From Trittenheim follow the "Römersteig" over the bridge, the Fährfelsplateu past the late Roman sacophagi, through the steep slope to the slate cave.
Alternatively, the side trail "Moselachter", Kronbergrunde leads you from the Zummmet Höhe to the slate cave.
