Sculptures by the River – Saar

With the sculptor symposium “Sculptures by the River” the association of local authorities in Konz is linking back to two earlier symposiums on the Upper Moselle. 10 artists from Germany, Ireland, Iceland, Italy and the Netherlands have managed to create a symbiosis between art and nature with their sculptures, thereby creating an attractive destination for walkers, cyclists and day-trippers. The project is part of the Rhineland-Palatinate Sculpture Trail, which each year advances a little further into the country, as well as the “Street of Peace” which has recently been connecting the peoples of different countries.
