From the viewpoint, there is a wide view of the Mosel loop, the wine towns of Piesport, Minheim, and Neumagen-Dhron. Here, the characteristic steep slopes and flatter vineyards of the Moselle landscape can be particularly well recognized. The Great Mosel View is also a popular destination on the panorama hiking trail and invites you to linger with a shelter.
