The "First Stiftsherr of modern times" leads guests on an approximately half-hour walk through the picturesque Stift district. Dressed in the authentic garb of the last resident Stift head (Jakob Fassbender, year 1779), he tells historical facts, embellished with nice little anecdotes about the lives of the Stiftsherren and choir bishops. This entertaining journey through time is completed with a visit to the Stiftsbrennerei Hambrech. The master distiller himself gives an interesting insight into the art of distilling, which guests can experience with all their senses.
