The treasure chamber of Trier Cathedral presents one of the most important collections of ecclesiastical treasure art, the remarkable pieces from late antiquity (relief of a reliquary procession), Romanesque (Andreas portable altar, reliquary of the Holy Nagels, Gozbert smoke barrel), Gothic, Baroque (Ausburg Silver Madonna ) and 19./20. Century (works of historicism from the Trier Atelier Brems-Varain) contains. There are also several important manuscripts from the Middle Ages (Code of Simeons, Helmarshausen Gospels, Pericopes by Kuno von Falkenstein).

The Treasury of Trier Cathedral presents one of the most significant collections of sacred art, comprising remarkable pieces from Late Antiquity (relief of a relic procession), the Romanesque period (portable altar with relic from St. Andrew, Holy Nail shrine, the Gozbert censer), the Gothic era, the baroque era (Augsburg silver Madonna), and the 19th and 20th centuries (works from the period of historicism from the Trier goldsmith studio Brems-Varain).
In addition, the Treasury holds several important medieval illuminated manuscripts (Simeon’s Codex, Helmarshausen Gospel Book, Pericope Book of Kuno von Falkenstein).
