Townscapes and village scenery Traben-Trarbach

  • Traben-Trarbach

An abundance of fascinating architecture with Art Nouveau and "Belle Epoque" architectural treasures make a holiday here a romantic experience on the Moselle.

Around 1900, cosmopolitan wine merchants had a wealth of Art Nouveau and "Belle Epoque" buildings constructed. During a stroll through Traben-Trarbach, monuments from the Art Nouveau period alternate with Baroque and Classicist buildings and typical Moselle architecture. Historical landmarks such as the bridge gate and the Grevenburg castle ruins as well as the Mont Royal fortress characterise the townscape. Guests can also experience history and culture on Trarbach's Museum Row.
