Train Station
The new 'Trier Pallien / Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke' station will be served by regional trains from March 03, 2025. The RB 83 line commutes between the main station in Luxembourg City and Wittlich, where it connects to the regional express trains to Koblenz and Saarbrücken/Mannheim. The RB 84 runs between Trier-Hafenstraße and Konz to Saarburg, where there are also connections to the trains to Koblenz and Saarbrücken/Mannheim.
The trains have connections to the municipal bus lines 2, 8, 14, 18 and 80, which stop not far from the station.
The railway station is located directly on the Moselle and the Moselle cycle path and is a good starting point for the Moselsteig Trail stage #5 from Trier to Schweich. There is also a good connection from the railway station to the Eifelsteig from/to Kordel. The riverside promenade in Zurlauben with the jetty is also within walking distance of around 700 metres.
If you have any questions about the station, please contact the Deutsche Bahn mobility service on +49 30 65212888 or email msz@deutschebahn.com.
