University, conference & congress venue

The "new" university in the Trier district of Tarforst was opened in 1970. The Audimax is the largest lecture hall at the university, accommodating a total of 550 students or conference participants.

Located in the heart of Europe, the University of Trier has developed into a high-performing, research-active, and internationally networked institution. As a member of the University of the Greater Region, it offers students and researchers the opportunity to study and conduct research simultaneously in Metz, Nancy, Luxembourg, Liège, Kaiserslautern, and Saarbrücken. 13,000 students and 1,300 employees appreciate the short distances between lecture halls and facilities and the personal atmosphere on the green, artistically designed campus with a view of the Moselle.
