Viewing point with a magnificent view of Treis-Karden and the Moselle. In addition to a shelter, tables and benches as well as a swing invite you to linger. The viewing point can be reached via the Boxwood hiking trail or the Moselle path (stage 20) from Karden in about 30 minutes. The steep ascent is demanding, but the view of the Moselle is definitely worth it.

The viewpoint can be reached in about 30 minutes via the Boxwood Hiking Trail or Moselsteig (Stage 20) from Karden. The entrance is located at the end of the Burg Eltz Trail (information board of the Boxwood Trail). The path leads uphill to the viewpoint along narrow vineyard paths. The steep ascent is challenging, but the view of the Moselle is definitely worth it.
