Wild goings-on at the castle - crime thriller by author Anja Balschun
What's going on in Treis-Karden?
Now it's hitting 13! Firstly, in terms of the number of crime novels penned by Anja Balschun, and secondly in Treis-Karden. This delightful town on the tranquil Lower Moselle boasts an imposing cathedral in Karden and a mighty castle complex in Treis. And not only that, but also with a good dose of criminal energy.
Wild goings-on at the castle - This case leads investigator Jana Reber and her colleagues Philipp Kirchner and Salik Elmas into a wooded area below the Wildburg in freezing temperatures. There they find the dead Betty Bohnsack, a tax consultant with her own law firm, and lots of questions. Who scratched the unflattering words “stupid chicken” into the snow next to the dead woman? And why? What about the Swinging Fifties, whose business card was stuck in the murdered woman's clothes? What role do the ten employees of the tax office play? And doesn't the dead woman's husband have more than one excellent reason for the murderous deed...?
