Geführte Wanderung "Äppelkist & Schiefer"

Apples and slate have always played an important role in Riveris. During the guided hike, Michael Luy will provide you with a wealth of information on the agricultural utilisation of the Ruwer Valley and the mining history of Riveris. Alfred Stüttgen will also inform you about the utilisation and benefits of the orchards in terms of biodiversity. Enjoy the highlights such as a slate gallery you can experience, an XXL selfie frame, a rotating sensory bench and much more. During the hike, there will be a demonstration showing how slate hearts are cut. Hikers can organise their own picnic at the panoramic view picture frame. There will also be lots of information about biodiversity and the general themes of the hiking trail along the way. The hike ends after approx. 3 hours at the treading pool.
