Buying fresh products is not the art.
But it is the art of lovingly processing them. Both together a taste experience. The products from the region have the highest priority, and if it is allowed to be turbot or sea bass, one goes also with pleasure sometimes beyond the region. But always with an eye on quality.

The historic Fronhof, where the restaurant Klein`s Fronhof is located today, was donated to the Cologne monastery "St. Martin" by the archbishop Evergerus in 989 and later sold by him to the monastery of Trier in 1552. This Fronhof possessed "Jus Asyli" which meant that any persecuted person who took refuge in it was not allowed to be seized here. So that persecuted people could enter at any time day and night and even if the gate was locked, there was a flap at the bottom of the gate under which one could crawl in on one's stomach.
