Welcome to the Manfred Ames Winery!

For generations - already more than 150 years - we have been involved in viticulture as a family business. Here especially with the cultivation of the queen of white wine varieties, the Riesling, which we grow on 70% of our vineyard area. Riesling is the name of the vine that gives the Moselle's top vineyards their reputation. The origin from our top vineyards, the experience from generations of winegrowers, combined with the latest oenological knowledge of cellar master Frank, form the foundation of our wine quality.

For us, viticulture is more than just work and earning a living. Our wines have become our families' purpose in life - in the vineyard, in the cellar and not least with the bond to our customers. That may sound a bit exaggerated, but those who know us know what we mean by that.

Your Ames winegrowing family.
