The Aspelbach valley is a real natural experience for both cyclists and hikers and is one of the ten Stoppomat routes. The route is suitable for families and includes beautiful and well-maintained hiking trails. It is fully asphalted and well signposted.
The idyllic cycling and hiking trail through the beautiful Aspelbach valley begins in the "Niederfeller Schweiz". It is known for its well-maintained and especially beautiful hiking trails. The valley is a genuine insider tip and ideal for the whole family. The tranquility and fresh forest air make the tour along the Aspelbach perfect. Even in summer, cyclists rarely break a sweat because the trail into the Hunsrück runs along the cool stream. After about 9 kilometers, you reach Pfaffenheck.

Directions
From the starting point, follow Bachstraße down into the valley, along the Aspelbach. Continue straight ahead along the path to Oberfeller Straße in Pfaffenheck.
Safety Guidelines
For your own safety and to protect the flora and fauna, please always stay on the marked paths. The hiking trail partly has steep, difficult, and slippery sections in rainy or winter weather. Therefore, surefootedness and good fitness are essential prerequisites.

These are located at spots easily accessible to rescue vehicles. Remember the points with green signs and a white cross. In an emergency, return there and give the number on the sign when calling for help. This way, rescue workers will know where to find you.

- Sturdy and comfortable footwear.
- Weather-appropriate clothing, possibly in a layered system.
- Backpack with provisions: Enough to drink and possibly refreshments, as there are not always places to eat or shop open or available.
- Depending on the weather, sun or rain protection, as well as mosquito/tick repellent.
