Experience 2000 years of history in the oldest city in Germany.
From the landmark of the oldest city in Germany, the Porta Nigra, walk through the pedestrian zone (Simeonstraße) to the medieval main market. From there, go through Sternstraße to the Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady and further to the Constantine Basilica, the throne hall of Emperor Constantine. Right next to it is the Electoral Palace and the beautiful palace garden. At the southern end of the palace garden, you can already see the mighty ruins of the Imperial Baths. After passing through the old city wall, walk through the underpass beneath Weimarer Allee/Ostallee into Hermesstrasse. This finally leads to Olewiger Straße, which you follow to the left to the amphitheater.
