This route connects the Pellingen plateau with the Saar and Moselle cycle paths to Trier.
From Pellingen, the route initially goes across the plateaus of the Hochwald to Steinbachweiher. Behind it, the route descends through wooded area to the wine village of Schoden. From Schoden, follow the signage of the Saar cycle path on flat roads to Konz. A break is worthwhile at the confluence of the Saar and Moselle. Then continue on the Moselle cycle path to the Roman city of Trier. Passing Mattheiser Weiher and the district of Mariahof, the route climbs towards Obermennig. Parallel to the B268, you cycle above the vineyards back to Pellingen.

Getting there
Pellingen is accessible via the B268.
Parking
Parking is available on Trierer Straße opposite the parish church of St. Antonius.
Public transit
Bus line 293 from Konz to Pellingen or bus line 207 from Trier to Pellingen.
