Almost without inclines, you cycle the entire time on your own bike path directly next to the Moselle, enjoying nature and views of the river on this gentle bike route. It is always worth planning breaks to visit the charming towns and Traben-Trarbach.
General information
Directions
From Traben station, cross the bridge into the district of Trarbach. Follow the road to the intersection and cross the street (Caution: dangerous intersection!). Then follow the bike path towards Traben-Trarbach/Wolf. Continue following the bike path to Kinheim/Kindel. There, cross the bridge to Kinheim and cycle back in the opposite direction towards Kröv and Traben-Trarbach. Once in Traben-Trarbach, leave the Moselle riverbank onto the street "Im Trehl." At the end of the street, keep right and you will reach Traben station again.

Tip
If you like to make a detour on foot from time to time, you should not miss a visit to the Wolfer monastery ruins – the view rewards you for the climb!

By car, drive to the district Traben to the tourist information "Am Bahnhof 5".
Parking
Paid parking is available at the tourist information.
Public transit
Take the train to Traben station.
Take bus line 333 from Bernkastel direction to the central bus station Traben (bike transport possible).
