Family hike on the Tree World Path at the Forestry Office Quint/Schweich

Tree species from around the world experienceable in the Meulenwald! The Trier Forestry Office offers all visitors to the Meulenwald a very special attraction, the "Tree World Path"! On the occasion of the International Year of Forests 2011 and following a tradition of more than one hundred years of cultivating exotic tree species in the Quinter State Forest, more than 21 different tree species from almost all continents of the earth have been made experienceable on an approximately 4.5 km long, easily walkable circular path. In 2015, around 2 km of the section were made wheelchair accessible. We would therefore like to invite you to start your "Tree World Journey" right here with us at the Forestry Office in Quint, at the foot of the Meulenwald. The wheelchair accessible route starts at the Rothenberg car park (directly on the L 47). Both starting points are equipped with information boards and flyers so that you can discover the "Tree World Path" on-site without preparation, using the additional existing signage. We already wish you much pleasure in the beautiful nature of the Meulenwald.
