With hardly any inclines, this gentle cycling tour follows a dedicated bike path right along the Moselle, allowing you to enjoy the surrounding nature and the views of the river throughout. It’s always worth taking breaks to explore the charming villages and the town of Traben-Trarbach.
General information
Directions
From Traben railway station you cross the bridge to the district of Trarbach. You follow the road until you get to a junction and cross the road (please note: dangerous junction!). Then you follow the cycle path towards Traben-Trarbach/Wolf and then on to Kinheim/ Kindel. There you cross the bridge to Kinheim and continue in the opposite direction back towards Kröv and Traben-Trarbach. Once in Traben-Trarbach, you leave the bank of the Moselle river and turn into "Im Trehl". Traben railway station is at the end of this road on the right.

Tip
If you enjoy taking a short detour on foot, don’t miss the Wolfer Monastery ruins – the stunning view at the top makes the climb well worth it!
