General information

Directions

From the hiking parking lot at the sports field in Osburg, the path leads towards the village center to the 1st station on Bergstraße. Further downhill we stop at the former forester's house at station 2. Continuing downhill on Bergstraße, just above the Blau bakery, we turn right into the small path leading us to the next stations at the cemetery and the church.

The former youth center (former boys' school) can be reached after a short detour on the opposite side of Klemensstraße. Then we turn back and continue the path towards Place Velars (marketplace). Here you find numerous information about the partnership of the municipality with Velars sur Ouche and about the next station Haus Millisch.

Through Oberstraße and Engweg, we reach the next station – the clubhouse of MGV Osburg. From there, turn right into Unterstraße and follow the signs left into Brunnenstraße and further along Unter Wiesloch street to the next station about Osburg springs and brooks.

Afterwards, the path leads out of the village until at kilometer 2.2 we reach the station at the Geissenhäuschen in the forest and again 600 m further the station of the Roman villa at Longkamp.

Passing below the multipurpose hall, the path leads back into the village. Here turn immediately left into Unterm Bautel street and at the end of the street turn left into Klemensstraße. After about 200 m you reach on the right side the former municipal forester's house.

Through Hochwaldstraße you go to the last station at the Celtic burial mounds around Osburg. From there the path follows the Osburg Panorama Trail back to the hiking parking lot at the sports field.
