Bike route along the Mosel with views of the Kanonenbahn and a short ride on the Moselweinbahn, starting/ending in Kröv.

From Kröv, where you also have the option to rent bikes, the route initially follows the Mosel Cycle Path to Traben-Trarbach, then continues on the Traben side along the Mosel to Reil via Kövenig, always with views of the Mosel and along the railway tracks. Behind Reil, you will then see the section of the Kanonenbahn built in 1887. The route continues to the viewpoints Marienburg and Prinzenkopfturm before descending to Bullay. There you have a view of the double-deck bridge. Continuing along the Mosel to Kövenig, you face the final challenge over the Kröver Berg back to Kröv. Enjoy once more the views over the vineyards and Kröv towards Wolf and the Mosel loop as well as towards Trarbach.

Alternatively, part of the route can also be covered by the Moselweinbahn, which runs hourly.
