A cycle tour suitable for kids. Cycle along the Moselle and Sûre rivers on a flat, separate cycle path. The highlight is the ferry crossing from Luxembourg to Germany.

The cycle path along the Moselle and Sauer always runs close to the water. The cycle path is mostly asphalted and separated from motorised traffic and is largely flat and without gradients, making the route ideal for a cycle tour with children.

In Konz, you cross the Moselle over the railway bridge and pass Igel, known for the "Igeler Säule" - a Roman tomb. In Wasserbilligerbrück, you follow the Sauer cycle path on the German side before crossing the bridge to Luxembourg in Langsur.

Cycle back to Wasserbillig on the Luxembourg side. Take the electric solar ferry "Sankta Maria II" to the German side of the Moselle and cycle downstream, past the confluence of the Saar and Moselle rivers, back to Konz.

The tour starts and ends in the town of Konz. Of particular interest are the Roscheider Hof open-air museum and a great adventure playground right on the banks of the Moselle.
