The "Kirchspiel" hiking route connects the Kirchspiel communities Reidenhausen, Haserich, Panzweiler, Walhausen, Schauren, Hesweiler by a circular route of about 20 km in length. Blankenrath is connected to these places in a star shape. The word "Kirchspiel" refers to the geographical catchment area of the church communities.
A total of 12 different route sections from 2 to 20 km in length can be freely selected (see information boards at the chapels/churches of the respective local community).

Directions
The start and finish in the Kirchspiel communities is the respective chapel and in Blankenrath the parish church. On the information boards set up there, you can freely choose the 12 different route sections from 2 to 20 kilometers in length.
Equipment
The route mostly runs on very well-maintained farm and forest roads and therefore offers the best hiking conditions for young and old alike. We recommend sturdy footwear.
