This delightful tour takes you through the beautiful Moselle towns, from Traben-Trarbach to Kinheim, and through stunning countryside!
This gentle cycle tour along the mostly flat cycle path along the Moselle river allows you to enjoy the countryside and views of the river. We recommend that you take plenty of breaks to visit the charming villages along the way to the town of Traben-Trarbach.
General information
Directions
From Traben railway station you cross the bridge to the district of Trarbach. You follow the road until you get to a junction and cross the road (please note: dangerous junction!). Then you follow the cycle path towards Traben-Trarbach/Wolf and then on to Kinheim/ Kindel. There you cross the bridge to Kinheim and continue in the opposite direction back towards Kröv and Traben-Trarbach. Once in Traben-Trarbach, you leave the bank of the Moselle river and turn into "Im Trehl". Traben railway station is at the end of this road on the right.

Tip
If you like to take a little a detour on foot, do pay a visit to the Wolf monastery ruins up on the hill - you will be rewarded by magnificent views!

Drive to the tourist information centre "Am Bahnhof 5" in the district of Traben.

Metered parking is available by the tourist information centre.

The 333 bus from Bernkastel to Traben ZOB (central bus station) (bicycles permitted).
