Safety Guidelines

For your own safety and to protect flora and fauna please always stay on the marked paths. The hiking trail includes some steep, challenging, and slippery sections in rainy or winter weather conditions. Therefore, surefootedness and good fitness are essential.

NOTE:

We strive to announce all closures caused by forestry work or hunting groups on this platform. However, there may be situations where trails are closed and we have not been informed. If you unexpectedly encounter a closure or detour, please follow the instructions for your own safety.

Danger situations:

In an emergency, quick help is crucial. Although mobile phones can send GPS signals, at classic rescue points it is often fastest. These are located where rescue vehicles can easily access. Remember the points marked with green signs and a white cross. In case of emergency, return there and give the number on the sign when calling for help. This way, rescuers will know where to find you.
