Moselle winter hike Upper Moselle (Orchid Area Wasserliesch)

If you are looking for a winter hike right through nature, you are in the right place here. After leaving the hiking car park, you immerse yourself in the nature and tranquility of the Liescher Berg. Via the Moselsteig access route, you first pass the orchid area going downhill. In the forest, you then reach the Moselsteig, which you follow to the Löschemer Chapel. The chapel is located in an exposed position on the edge of the slope. Even in winter, the view from here into the Moselle Valley and across the ridges of the Eifel and Hunsrück is particularly attractive. The short return to the car park is effortless and level on the plateau of the Liescher Berg.
