Premium circular hiking trail with extraordinary experiences, fantastic views and beautiful scenery.

From the Roscheider Hof open-air museum, the hiking trail leads through the district of Roscheid and continues along a narrow, rustic forest path, which is also known as the Wurzelweg (root path) due to its many roots (be careful when wet: danger of slipping!). The trail leads through the stream valley to the vineyards of Niedermennig with marvellous views of the Konzer Tälchen valley, which more than four million years ago was still an orbital valley of the Moselle. Continuing through woodland, vineyards and open meadows, you reach the Roscheider Plateau. From there, you have an impressive panoramic view over Trier all the way to Luxembourg.Along the way, the imposing giant chair in the middle of the vineyards and the sky swing, on which you can swing in a relaxed manner, offer extraordinary experiences with fantastic views. The large landscape frame draws the eye to the confluence of the Saar and Moselle rivers and provides a beautiful backdrop for the final photo stop. After the hike, the Roscheider Hof inn invites you to enjoy a refreshment stop.
